At Calm Spirit Counseling, we provide compassionate, client-centered therapy to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you’ll find a safe and supportive space here.
Our work focuses on mental wellness, emotional healing, and personal growth—meeting you where you are and helping you move toward where you want to be. Through evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we partner with you to create meaningful and lasting change.
My goal as a therapist is to work with you to create a safe and authentic space where you can open yourself to change.
I focus on a collaborative approach that incorporates cognitive- behavioral, attachment-based, and emotionally- focused interventions to meet you where you are and walk with you on your journey of healing and growth.
I have worked with a diverse array of individuals in private practice, psychiatric hospital settings, and prisons. As a therapist, I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches in a way that customizes the therapeutic experience for each client.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including:
Anxiety and Depression – Helping you manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions so you can find balance and clarity.
Personality Disorders – Providing thoughtful, nonjudgmental support to understand patterns and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD) – Supporting healing from trauma with care, safety, and evidence-based approaches.
Work-Related Stress – Navigating burnout, career transitions, and the emotional toll of demanding work environments.
Communication and Connection – Building skills for more open, authentic, and effective communication.
Relationships – Supporting individuals and couples in both traditional and non-traditional relationship structures, including navigating conflict, intimacy, and growth.
